My Wisdom

When I  have kids, I wouldn't like for them to become involved with drugs. I've seen many people fall into drug addiction and I personally think it's sad. I would inform my kids of how drugs can affect someone both physically and emotionally. I would also show them the substances myself so that they would know when to say no if offered. 

Drugs can kill people but it can also be "fun" to some people. When I have kids I know it would be hard to keep them away from  drugs but I would try my hardest for them not to be doing drugs. Any person can fall into the world of drugs. My kids will not fall into this because I would not allow them to. I wouldn't want my kids to do drugs because I believe it would really affect them in school and with their emotions. I would teach my kids about the long term effects of every drug.

Heroin

Heroin is an opiate, a class of drugs that are either naturally derived from the flowers of the poppy plant, or synthetic substitutes.Heroin can be used in a variety of ways depending on user preference and the purity of the drug. It can be injected into a vein or muscle, smoked in a water pipe or standard pipe, mixed in a marijuana joint or regular cigarette, inhaled as smoke through a straw, or snorted as powder via the nose.

Its federal classification is Schedule I. Heroin is a highly addictive, illegal drug. It is used by millions of addicts around the world who are unable to overcome the urge to continue taking this drug every day of their lives.In a short amount of time, regular heroin use destroys the body. Common conditions that plague heroin users include infection of the heart lining and valves, liver disease, lung disease, and hepatitis and HIV/AIDS from needle use. Heroin is a really bad drug and I think it's sad how people, especially teens, use this drug.

In my opinion, I believe that smoking is a very bad thing to do because it can cause cancer, strokes, and heart disease.  Smoking doesn't only affect the smoker, but the people who pass by and breathe in the smoke. People who smoke cigarettes have troubles with their breathing and tend to cough a lot. Cigarettes can cause yellow skin, teeth, and fingernails. I really dislike the smell of the smoke.

Cigarettes contain many unhealthy things in them. Not only are they unhealthy but they are really expensive. I think that people should save that money and spend it on more productive things other than cigarette packs. Some people even buy up to 5 packs a week. Smoking can become an addiction that could be very hard to overcome. I think smoking can be dangerous and bad for people.

My Favorite Band

My favorite band is named The Strokes. I really enjoy their music because it is relaxing, but it has a really nice rock tune to it. Their genre is Indie Rock. Their lead singer is super talented and I find him to be very attractive. I remember that the first time I heard one of their songs was on Guitar Hero Legends of Rock.

Their band consists of the lead singer, two guitarists, a bassist, and a drummer. They make a great band because they all compliment each other. My favorite song by them is called Call Me Back. They have released 8 albums all together. I think they are great artists and I love their band.

The first song I ever heard from them is called Reptilia. It was so much fun to play on the game. Their music is really peaceful sometimes but it can also have that rock beat to it. I like to listen to their songs while I'm riding my bike or just relaxing at home. I love their music and the band. The are my favorite and always have been.
