Graffiti

My favorite type of art is graffiti. I like graffiti because it allows people to express themselves in a matter where it's a type of art, yet it can send messages. Graffiti is a very difficult type of art, not everyone can achieve it. To some people, graffiti is a crime or some even refer to is as trash or garbage. I think it's a unique way to express your feelings and emotions.

Graffiti has many type of variations, some are words and some are pictures.  I think that graffiti is art, not a crime. I think the reason that people don't like graffiti is because its nothing like the art in the past. Graffiti is a modern type of art and not very easy to do, it takes a lot of hard work to start the process of creating graffiti.

Perseverance

If I were offered $50 now or $100 in a year, I would choose the $100 in a year. I would chose that because it would make it feel like I waited for something and it would feel better than just getting $50 dollars on the spot. It would make feel like I had a lot patience and like my hard work would pay off. It would show that I have perseverance to wait a whole year for $100.

I have a long term goal, which is for me to become a professional chef and achieve to build up my own restaurant of at least 4 stars or better. If I don't get the opportunity to open up my own restaurant, then I would at least want to work at a 4 star of better restaurant. Hopefully my goals come true. The way I'm trying to achieve this goal is by trying to do good in school so that I can graduate and then go to the Culinary Institute of America in San Francisco, then go to New York to achieve my bachelors degree.

My Favorite Social Media Sites

 

Almost everyone has a social media site that they like to use. I have three media sites that use on the daily and are my favorite. The first one is Instagram. I love using Instagram because it allows you to express yourself through your photography. I put up a lot of pictures frequently. My username I think is unique. It's @createthosevibes_. I love following bands and fashion blogs, as well as some of my friends. It's amazing how some people take pictures.

 

My second favorite social media is called Facebook. I enjoy Facebook because I can post statuses, photos, videos, and more. It's more of an open social site. I like following pages with funny memes and such. Sometimes Facebook tends to get boring, but then I just go use a different social site.

Another social media site that I really enjoy using is called Tumblr. On Tumblr you can post pictures, gifs, videos, quotes, songs, and other things. I love this site because there's actually a lot more photography pictures. Some posts are really relatable and some are funny. My URL is fati-loves-dinosaurs.tumblr.com. Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is different for a lot of people. Some people like to go the traditional way and make turkey and such. For my family we like to get together and make a lot of food for the whole family to enjoy together. We like to make turkey, mashed potatoes, salads, and many more things. We usually go to my grandma's house in Santa Ana and celebrate together.

To me Thanksgiving means to give thanks for all the things we have gotten throughout the year and for all the blessings we've received. Every year our family come together as one and we forget all our differences and problems that we deal with on our daily lives. Thanksgiving is a special time of the year where there's yummy food and gratitude for the things we have.

This years Thanksgiving might be different due to the fact that some of my family moved to Mexico. I feel like it might be a lot different because I usually talk to them the most. Hopefully this Thanksgiving I can have a great time with my family and my boyfriend.

Against

I am against marijuana because I think it is stupid that people use if for a recreational use. It has been scientifically proven that smoking marijuana causes chronic bronchitis. When people use marijuana, they don't think clearly, they have a slower reaction to things. The fact that people are trying to legalize marijuana will probably just lead to misuse of the service and will allow people to have easier access toward marijuana.

Teenagers who use marijuana in a recreational way usually have bad grades, bad attendance, or bad behavior. I think it's stupid how teens these days will spend loads of money just on buying marijuana and accessories for it. When students ditch school for marijuana, they lower their chances of graduating.

The use of marijuana in families can be passed on from older siblings or parents to younger ones. If an older brother uses marijuana, it might influence the younger siblings to start using marijuana. I think that even if marijuana is legal or illegal it will still be an issue and will still be abused of. In my opinion marijuana is bad and I think it just shouldn't be used at all.

5. Call Of Duty Ghosts

Call of Duty Ghosts was my least favorite video game because of the similarities to Halo and Battlefield. I like this game though, because of the fact that they integrated girls into the game. I like the campaign that this game offers because it is fun and really intense.

4. Grand Theft Auto IV

I like Grand Theft Auto IV because the story is fun and interesting. I like the maps and cities they used in the game. This game was very fun and I like that it takes time to get everything done. This game has interesting characters and has twists to it. I also enjoyed the music that tis game has.

3. Call of Duty Black Ops 2

Call of Duty Black Ops 2 is one of my top five because I like the maps and the guns it has. I enjoy playing this game online. My favorite map on this game is called Hijacked. I also like that this game has Zombies. I like the maps for the Zombies feature.

2. Minecraft

I really enjoy playing Minecraft because it is relaxing and you get to express your creativity by building anything you want. I also like it because the music is relaxing. Minecraft isn't only relaxing but if you're playing on survival mode, there are hostile mobs that you have to fight off so that you won't die.

1. Modern Warfare 3

My favorite game is called Modern Warfare 3. I like this game because of them maps and the guns. I like playing infected in this game. My favorite guns are the ACR 6.8 and the PP90M1 and my favorite maps are called Hardhat and Dome.

My Purpose

What is my true purpose in life?

I want to be spiritually calm and peaceful I don't want to be stressed all the time. I want to have love and courage. With love I won't feel lonely, whether it's from my family or my partner. With courage I will be able to follow and reach my goals. I want to have a helpful soul, where I help others with acts of kindness. I want to have the ability to not be judgmental because I know how it hurts to be judged. I want to be able to make others proud of who I am, not disappoint them with my actions. 

My purpose in life is to have love for the world, courage within myself, have a peaceful spirit, soul, and life.

Stranded

If I were to be stranded on a deserted island I would take food, a boat, and a knife for self defense and to help me  cut resources around the island. I would take a box of watermelon seeds so that I could plant and harvest them. Watermelons not only give me food, but they are also very juicy so it's count as like a type of beverage. 

Another thing I would take with me to the deserted island would be a boat. I would take a boat so that I could try to get out of there as fast as I could. i think that the boat would also help me as shelter, I coul go under the boat and stay in there if it were raining and i would be able to sleep in there. I could also use it as a landmark and storage.

The last thing that I would take with me to the island would be a knife. With the knife I would be able to use it for self defense, to cut things like wood, fruits in the trees, food, etc.. This knife has multiple functions because it is an army swiss knife. I can use it to sharpen sticks that I'd find around the island and use them for self defense and I would probably be able to make paddles to get out of the island.

My Wisdom

When I  have kids, I wouldn't like for them to become involved with drugs. I've seen many people fall into drug addiction and I personally think it's sad. I would inform my kids of how drugs can affect someone both physically and emotionally. I would also show them the substances myself so that they would know when to say no if offered. 

Drugs can kill people but it can also be "fun" to some people. When I have kids I know it would be hard to keep them away from  drugs but I would try my hardest for them not to be doing drugs. Any person can fall into the world of drugs. My kids will not fall into this because I would not allow them to. I wouldn't want my kids to do drugs because I believe it would really affect them in school and with their emotions. I would teach my kids about the long term effects of every drug.

Heroin

Heroin is an opiate, a class of drugs that are either naturally derived from the flowers of the poppy plant, or synthetic substitutes.Heroin can be used in a variety of ways depending on user preference and the purity of the drug. It can be injected into a vein or muscle, smoked in a water pipe or standard pipe, mixed in a marijuana joint or regular cigarette, inhaled as smoke through a straw, or snorted as powder via the nose.

Its federal classification is Schedule I. Heroin is a highly addictive, illegal drug. It is used by millions of addicts around the world who are unable to overcome the urge to continue taking this drug every day of their lives.In a short amount of time, regular heroin use destroys the body. Common conditions that plague heroin users include infection of the heart lining and valves, liver disease, lung disease, and hepatitis and HIV/AIDS from needle use. Heroin is a really bad drug and I think it's sad how people, especially teens, use this drug.

In my opinion, I believe that smoking is a very bad thing to do because it can cause cancer, strokes, and heart disease.  Smoking doesn't only affect the smoker, but the people who pass by and breathe in the smoke. People who smoke cigarettes have troubles with their breathing and tend to cough a lot. Cigarettes can cause yellow skin, teeth, and fingernails. I really dislike the smell of the smoke.

Cigarettes contain many unhealthy things in them. Not only are they unhealthy but they are really expensive. I think that people should save that money and spend it on more productive things other than cigarette packs. Some people even buy up to 5 packs a week. Smoking can become an addiction that could be very hard to overcome. I think smoking can be dangerous and bad for people.

My Favorite Band

My favorite band is named The Strokes. I really enjoy their music because it is relaxing, but it has a really nice rock tune to it. Their genre is Indie Rock. Their lead singer is super talented and I find him to be very attractive. I remember that the first time I heard one of their songs was on Guitar Hero Legends of Rock.

Their band consists of the lead singer, two guitarists, a bassist, and a drummer. They make a great band because they all compliment each other. My favorite song by them is called Call Me Back. They have released 8 albums all together. I think they are great artists and I love their band.

The first song I ever heard from them is called Reptilia. It was so much fun to play on the game. Their music is really peaceful sometimes but it can also have that rock beat to it. I like to listen to their songs while I'm riding my bike or just relaxing at home. I love their music and the band. The are my favorite and always have been.

My Favorite Movie

My favorite movie is called 500 Days of Summer. I really like this movie because it's a romantic comedy. Throughout the movie, it shows the relationship of two people and how it comes to an end because of how careless the girl was. This movie shows a lot of cool places and I thought it was a great movie.

When I first saw this movie, I thought it was a bit confusing, but once I thought about it, it made more sense to me. I think this movie became my favorite movie because of the music included in the movie. I really like the soundtrack for this movie. The Smiths are included and I love them so much.

There's a part in the movie where they play his expectations and the reality. That part made me realize that not everything happens the way that we expect it to. I would really recommend people to go watch this movie because it's a funny and cute movie. Some parts are sad but it's a really good movie.

Culinary Arts

 Culinary arts is the art of preparing and cooking food. The word "culinary" is defined as something related to, or connected with, cooking. A culinarian working in restaurants is commonly known as a cook or a chef. When I graduate high school I want to go to San Francisco and study culinary arts over there. The cool thing about culinary schools is that you don't need to get straight A's in high school to get accepted, as long as you have a high school diploma and a passion for food, you are accepted. By the time I am 18 I want to be studying and learning in San Francisco. I graduate at 17 and I will have a job so I will save up money and move by the time I'm 18. When I'm in my early 30's I want to own my own restaurant and if i don't own one I want to work at a 4 or 5 star restaurant.

The name of the school I want to go to is called Culinary Institute of America, it is one of the best schools in America. I want to get a Bachelors degree in culinary arts but in order to do that i must go to New York because that school has a bigger campus and more classes. Once I finish my Bachelors degree I would like to go to Europe and study different cuisine. For example, I would like to go to Paris and study over there for a couple years and come back and open a resteraunt with various cuisines.

This is my passion and my dream and I am not gonna stop and nobody is going to discourage me. I am going to try my best at this because I want to succeed. I have been cooking little things for my family for years now and I've always found cooking to be my passion. Culinary arts is my passion and this is what I want to be as my career and I won't stop until I get it because I can then support from my family and I wont give up.

My Favorite Hobby

Hobbies are great things to have. It can help you get rid of the boredom that you deal with when you have nothing to do. Hobbies vary on the different types of people. My hobby is to learn how to play the guitar. Sometimes it can be very hard but I find it to be fun, really relaxing, and it's a great way to spend time.

Playing guitar is a great and fun hobby because it helps me learn new things and enjoy myself. I want to buy a new guitar because my old guitar isn't as smooth as before. Playing the guitar is a very popular hobby and millions of people do it. I love guitars. Some can say that I love music. I like almost every type of music, especially  music.

Guitars come in different shapes, sizes, and colors.

Ever since I was little I would always listen to  Queen, Metallica, The Smiths, and many more like them. I remember that I'd love to hear the guitar solos because they sounded so great to me. Guitars make beautiful sounds and they are so amazing. This is my hobby and I love it, and there's nothing that can change that.

GMOs

A genetically modified organism is an organism whose genetic material has been altered using genetic engineering techniques. It allows selected individual genes to be transferred from one organism into another, also between non-related species. GMOs are currently in 80% of processed foods. Monsanto is a company who encourages the use of GMOs, in fact they create them. Monsanto's goal is to "improve agriculture".

I believe that GMOs are very unhealthy because they can increase allergies and even in some cases autism. This method should be stopped because GMOs harm the environment. There are times when they feed genetically engineered food to farm animals to help them grow. The reason they do this is because they want to have a bigger animal so that it can feed more people. It's sad because the poor little animals cant's even stand on their own feet because they have a lot of meat but small bones. In my opinion GMOs should be stopped.

Being Charitable

The charity that I would choose to help out would be the Center for Victims of Torture. This charity's purpose is to heal the wounds of torture on individuals, their families and their communities and to end torture worldwide. They have a great program to help torture victims forget. They provide them with massages and physical therapy to help increase movement. They have helped many people and want to help more.

The Staff Of CVT.

The reason why I chose this charity was because one of my family member was affected by this and it was really hard for me to see them go through that. I believe that no one should ever have to go through this because it is just so bad and traumatizing. This is such an unfair thing that people do to others. If I could help this organization, I truly would.

Sadly, my family member that went through this, didn't have the support that they needed and ended up committing suicide. I was very sad when this happened. I never really understood since I was so young. I just hope no other family has to go through this because it's a hard thing to deal with. I think this organization is doing a great job by helping these victims.

My Expertise

Everyone has a different thing that they’re good at. For example some people are good at acting, others at singing. What I’m good at is playing basketball. I am very passionate about this sport. I feel it is a way for me to release my tension and anger out.

Spalding Basketballs are my favorite type of basketball because it’s so smooth to me.

I love going out to the court and just throwing the ball around. It feels so good to shot those 3 pointers! I just see it swish and I feel proud. I wanted to try out for my Costa Mesa High’s basketball team, but at the time I had really bad grades so I was unable to join.

I would love to play on a court like this one day, it would be like a dream come true.

One day I really hope to play a game with a pro or on a pro court. That would be such an amazing thing. I want to coach little kids during my free time if I ever get a chance. I love basketball and I hope I learn and get better at this sport.

The Best Thing I Did This Summer

Over the summer I did many things. It was a long summer that went by fast. I did so many things that I lost track of them, but I would never be able to forget the best thing I did this summer.

My birthday was on August 13th. That was the best day of summer because I celebrated it at the Disneyland Theme Park. It was a crazy adventure. My boyfriend and I went and got there around 8 am., but before that we had gone to Norms to eat some delicious breakfast. When we got there I knew I was ready for a crazy day. We went on all the rides but my favorite was California Screamin’. We spent the whole day there and left around 11 at night.

After we left, my parents decided to take us to eat at Olive Garden. It was so much fun and I ate some great pasta. I really enjoyed my day and at the end I ended up getting presents! I got mostly money but I  really enjoyed all my presents. With all this being said, my birthday was definitely the best thing that happened this summer vacation.
